PCA’s mission is the managing and developing of Commercial properties; including apartment communities, office buildings, retail centers and hotels located principally in Missouri and Kansas. Combined assets owned and under management now approach 700 apartment units and 750,000 square feet of office and retail space.
Recent Assignments include the redevelopment of the former Blue Ridge Mall into a 600,000 square foot Wal-Mart anchored power center and three LIHTC apartment properties.
The principals of PCA have acquired or sponsored numerous investments in properties involving major construction and project renovation. The firm is noted for identifying unique investment opportunities utilizing a value added approach through design improvements, re-tenanting changes and marketing strategies to achieve higher yields and investor profit. Part of the firm’s success is due to implementing creative approaches to increasing market appeal of older established properties so they will become competitive with newer but higher cost basis properties. By taking advantage of locations offering growth opportunity, the firm has benefited from this synergy by anticipating changes in population trends and economic activity. This approach was used to reposition a closed 28-story hotel in downtown Kansas City into a Four Star Omni Hotel through a $40 Million Dollar redevelopment program.
